I plan to finish my bachelors degree in 4 years and go straight into a Master's in EE with Georgia Tech's BS/MS. program. Once my five years of college are done, I plan to get a job in an electrical engineering field that suits me. I am not currently sure where I want to end up, but I have time to think.
Despite entering Tech as a physics major, I believe I am well on my way to graduating as an Electrical Engineer. I've completed a major project as well as several minor projects in the past year and have completed an internship in an EE field. I am focusing now on keeping my GPA up for grad school
To prepare for a possible Master's Degree, I need to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the next 4 years
I plan on interning with EE related companies each summer to gain more experience in different fields of study
To gain experience in electromechanical energy in particular, I plan on joining HYTECH racing.
Digital System Design: Design and implementation of digital systems, including a team design project. CAD tools, project
design methodologies, logic synthesis, and assembly language programming.
Programming for Hardware/Software Systems: Creation of complex execution and storage mechanisms, based on instruction
set architecture, for software design including high-level programming languages and operating systems. Programming design
projects.
My freshman year was mostly spent in survival mode. Between Zoom University and some less than stellar events in my personal life, I didnt have much time for clubs or co-curriculars. This year is improving however, as I have completed an internship and have gotten another for this summer. I am planning on joining HYTECH racing this spring to get more experience with real electric motor sports. I also plan on becoming a PI at flowers invention studio or the HIVE. I want to be able to spread some of my love for electronics as well as learn everything that other PI's and students have to offer.
